Young Adult Centre
After much anticipation, the Southall Young Adult Centre, also known as the YAC, has reopened to the public.
The popular venue, based in Park View Road, Southall, was closed in June 2024 for a £2million renovation by Ealing Council.
”There’s something for everyone”
The newly opened space includes facilities for football, basketball and cricket. It also includes a new indoor gym, sports court, gaming area and kitchen.
Visitors spent no time getting stuck into games of air hockey, pool and table tennis, with other scores of games available.
To make the centre more accessible a new disabled access has been built, and it is anticipated that community groups will benefit from using the centre too.
The Young Adult Centre (YAC) is a place where you can participate in a variety of fun and educational activities within a safe and relaxed environment.
Amongst the many activities that we offer, there is also space for you to study and use the internet as well as having the opportunity to meet new people, gain new skills, earn qualifications from nationally recognised organisations such as Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA).
In addition you can receive advice, support & guidance from Youth Workers and Connexions Advisors.
