We are looking for 13-19 year olds who live, work or study in Ealing Borough to become new UK Youth Parliment representatives!
UK Youth Parliament is a national organisation, and countrywide over 500 young people get elected each year. In Ealing we have 2 places to fill. The young people elected will:
represent young people's voices from the Borough of Ealing on a national level
try to make links with top Politicians, Local MP's and Councillors to promote young people's views
meet with the London Region of UK Youth Parliament on a monthly basis, in Westminster City Hall
be invited to attend the UK Youth Parliament Annual Sitting; take part in a 4 day programme of debating, campaigning and skill development.
be invited to sit for one day in the House of Commons with the rest of UKYP, and take part in debates which are televised and considered by Government itself.
UKYP members are the only group aside from elected MP's who are offered this privilege.
