Action Acton is running a Young Offenders in Custody & the Community Project at Action Acton-running until 2010.
You must be between ages 16-19 living in Ealing, H&F or Houslow
under community supervision or finished a community sentence within the last 2 years.
What the project offers:
Help with literacy/numeracy
We will help young people to gain qualifications they maybe missed out on at school in English or maths and they will be able to sit the exams at our Learning Centre.
Help preparing for/looking for work.
A full IAG service will try to place every young person in work placements, paid work or onto further courses.fun activities eg: fitness training, cycle maintenance & music production.
