PM Gallery is pleased to present the 5th Ealing Open Exhibition. All artists aged over 18, living, working or studying in the borough have been invited to submit a piece of artwork for display. The Ealing Open always attracts an eclectic mix of styles and media, including painting, sculpture, textiles, video, photography and installation. Many of the works will be for sale. In 2006, just under 200 works were exhibited. Local artists have always responded with enthusiasm and flair to the opportunity of participating in a large scale exhibition, at West London’s largest professional art gallery.
For 2008, we have asked artists to respond to this year’s Museums and Galleries month theme, which is, ‘Ideas and Innovation’. Visitors will be encouraged to vote for their favourite piece of artwork and the artist receiving most votes will receive a prize of art vouchers.
MGM month happens every May and aims to highlight the wealth of opportunities for entertainment, cultural enrichment and education that UK's museums and art galleries have to offer.
