Contraception and safe sex

If you choose to have safe sex, then it is so important that you do this safely. Safe Sex means protecting yourself not only from unwanted pregnancy, but also from Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Infections. The only way to avoid these are by using contraception, such as a condom.

If you feel comfortable enough, and there's no reason why you shouldn't, your GP is a great person to speak to. He or she can help assess if you are ready to have sex and can figure out the best contraception for you.

If you prefer, Ealing’s Family Planning Clinics can offer you good advice and give you the contraception that is best for you.
