The sewing project is aimed at young people of all levels. Those who have not had any previous experience will start with learning how to thread up a machine and be more familiar with it. Everyone will learn or gain more experience in sewing different seams, starting from the basic using the over locker to more advanced the French seam.
Everyone who attends regularly will make an outfit or garment of clothing, this could be for the less experienced from a pattern or the more advanced, an original design of their own.
This is a fun activity, so whether you want to make some thing from the start or recycle something you no longer wear, it a great skill to learn.
