New Arrivals

 

New Arrivals offers intensive support and guidance to young people between 13-19 years who are new to the UK. It is open to young people who live, study or work in the London Borough of Ealing. New Arrivals welcomes referrals from self or from other organisations.

 

New Arrivals provides

  • One to one confidential support
  • Help on how to access specialist services
  • Access to information and services within the borough of Ealing
  • Access to ICT for school work
  • Help on securing grants such as college hardship fund and Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA)
  • Help on application for your National Insurance number
  • Help on accessing information on asylum claims
  • Parents and school support
  • Provide information and support on employment, education and training

At the Young Adult Centre new arrivals (young Somalis only) meet every Monday 6.30pm to 9pm to take part in many activities. These include:
