Apprenticeships

Are you between ages 16 to 19? Ever wanted to learn AND earn? Sounds too good to be true? Well actually, a modern apprenticeship could be exactly what you're looking for.

With a modern apprenticeship you train whilst you work. This means, as an apprentice, you can get the best of both worlds...gaining further qualifications whilst having a job and getting paid. Even better, you can do anything from carpentry or engineering to health and beauty!

As an apprentice you must have the dedication to succeed in the world of work, and be willing to commit to one, two or even five years of training. But the rewards can be great, and so if you think you can do it, then an apprenticeship could be for you!

Demand for places is high, and so if you’re not sure, speak to an adviser at your local service.

Ealing Council also has an Apprenticeship Scheme. Click here for information on Ealing Council's current apprenticeship vacancies.

You can also visit www.apprenticeships.org.uk for more advice, and loads of useful information.
