Cash 4 Youth - Apply

Do you have an idea for an activity that doesn’t happen at present? Would you like to see an improvement to a building you use or to your area?

You might like to have basketball sessions, dance classes or a fashion show. You might want to have a computer suite, a new kitchen or a recording studio in the building where your group meets. Or you might like to get some film equipment and produce a film.

Can I apply?

Well, if you have an idea for a project, think about what you need for it and decide if you should apply. You are able to apply for funding if you fit into one or more of these categories:

  • Young people from voluntary or community organisations/groups, which are 'not for profit', or from statutory groups, such as the council’s youth centres and/or projects
  • School students where the out of school hours activity/project is open to young people who do not attend the school, but live in the local area
  • Start-up groups of young people
