This allows a parent or carer of a child with disabilities to park their car in places others are not permitted to park. Your child needs to receive the higher mobility rate of the Disability Living Allowance. To apply, contact your local Social Services reception point.
London Dial A Ride
Tel: 0845 999 1999 or www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround Dial a ride is a pre booked door-to-door bus service. Your child must be receiving the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance or be registered as blind to be eligible for Dial a Ride. You need to be a member of the Dial a Ride scheme.
