Charity shops and toy libraries are a good source of toys, games, books and DVD’s for children.  If buying second hand do ensure that the toys are safe and in good order with no risky, sharp edges, missing bits or small parts that could be swallowed.

Open 10 am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term times only SNIPS stocks good quality, reasonable priced second hand children’s clothes, toys, games, books and videos.  The children will also enjoy the other attractions the crypt has to offer, including freshly cooked food, toys to play with, and even a haircut.

 

TOY LIBRARIES
The Council-Run nursery centres listed here offer a toy library facility, which is open to the public.  Toys and books can be borrowed for one or two weeks for a small charge per item.
