Incorporated into the main gym is a sensory room with light and sound sensory equipment, ball pond and a soft play area. It is available in the evening, Mon- Fri 4.30pm – 9pm and Sun 9am – 2pm, free of charge, to additional needs children and their families, but must be booked in advance.

A multi sensory environment for disabled children that is both stimulating and relaxing. Children can take control of sounds, smells, light, colours and movement, or can play in the soft-play area, which includes a ball pond, and giant tubes and tunnels. Pre book sessions Tues 10 -3, Thurs 10-3. Drop in sessions the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.

Planet X – A unique walk-in sensory installation space with the intention to stimulate the senses of 3-16 year old disabled children through sound, light, colour and texture. The space offers many areas and interactive gadgets to explore and is all themed around space travel and planets. Held on a Saturday once a month, there will be facilitators to help and encourage participation on the different areas and you can stay as long as you want in each space. £1 per person.
